Coffee is considered the most important Peruvian agro export product that has played a significant role in this country’s economy, creating not only a huge income to this sector, but also a great social meaning because it gives financial support to 150,000 producing families settled in the north east and south of the Peruvian Amazon.

Since 1996 there has been a moderate increase of the harvested surface. Consequently there has also been an increase in the production reaching, in the 2006, an area of 315,000 hectares.
Comercio & Cia., has the social aim of improving the levels of productivity per hectare and the breakthrough of quality. Besides, its duty is not only to gather, transport and process but also to trade the coffee in this important coffee area.
